Jeans Centre is a household name in Dutch denim fashion for nearly 50 years that manages a product catalog of over 23,000 items across 90+ stores and a growing online presence. Known for its friendly service and denim expertise, the brand offers products from over 10 leading labels, including Garcia, Wrangler, and MUD Jeans, to a loyal and style-conscious customer base.

But with such a large and seasonal assortment, running efficient Google Ads campaigns was becoming a serious challenge for them to scale.

Like many retailers, Jeans Centre faced two major hurdles in scaling their Google Ads strategy:

1. Create a quality Product Feed – Feed Management
A high-quality feed became the foundation:

  • Combined multiple data sources, including store-level inputs like stock and margins.

  • Enriched fields with accurate prices, optimized titles, delivery times, and category data.

  • Applied master rules to instantly update seasonality, gender, age group, and other product details.

2. Establish a strong account structure – Feed Management

  • Connected their Google Shopping feed for automated product updates.

  • Categorized products to meet Google’s requirements using smart categorization.

  • Automatically built keyword structures for campaigns using If/Then rules.

3. Create relevant & personalized Ads – PPC

  • Used the Text Ads Generator to combine dynamic product data with static templates.

  • Applied ad group-level rules to include or exclude keywords in bulk to ensure ads stayed hyper-relevant.

  • Included real-time details like stock levels and sale prices directly in ad copy.

4. Optimize based on performance data – Insights

  • Transitioned from a basic “high/medium/low” approach to a performance segmentation model.

  • Used segmentation labels to identify “Stars,” “Potentials,” and “Underperformers,” enabling budget reallocation toward the most profitable products.

5. Scale what works

  • Automated bulk changes for new products and campaigns, accelerating launches.

  • Created a repeatable structure that supports future growth across multiple ad formats.

The new setup delivered measurable impact:

  • Efficiency: Campaign launches for new brands and seasonal items went live faster, with minimal manual work. Automated pausing of out-of-stock products eliminated wasted budget and human error.

  • Relevance & cost savings: By focusing budget on profitable keywords, Jeans Centre improved overall campaign profitability while keeping ads aligned with customer demand.
