How do I get my products on Facebook
- Create a Channable account
Creating an account takes seconds, just sing up with your name and email address.
- Import your product data feed
The Channable platform supports CSV files, RSS feeds and XML feeds. Just select the type of file you would like to import from from the options available. If you have a different type of file, don’t worry, just contact us and we will add it for you.
- Add a Facebook feed
In order to export your product, first you would have to add Facebook as a channel. Don’t worry it’s very easy! To do that just head over to the ‘Channels’ tab and ‘add new channel’. How to add your product feed in the Facebook Business Manager
After optimizing the specific Facebook feed in Channable, you can upload your new feed in Facebook. First of all you need to create a Facebook Business Manager account, which can be done easily over here.
When you created your Facebook Business account you’ll see the next interface, where you can open your “Product Catalogues” to add your datafeed.
After you’ve accessed the product catalogs page you will be given the option to create a product catalog.
The first step of setting up your product catalog is to name your catalog, choose a catalog type and assign the catalog owner.
When you have completed this step and configured your catalog, you’ll be taken to your catalog interface where you can add new product feeds and manage already imported feeds.
To add a new Facebook feed, click on the “Add Product Feed” button. In order to complete the set up of your feed you’ll need to execute two steps. Firstly, configure the “Name and Currency” of your product feed.
The second step “Add Product Feed” involves selecting the upload schedule and pasting your Feed URL, which you can find in the preview step of your Facebook setup in Channable.
*Important: If your product feed is not password protected DO NOT insert a username and password. IF you do the import into Facebook will fail.
